I am in the idea stage for a business.
My idea is to make a platform where businesses have bots that search for and talk with the bots created by employees. Example:
Microsoft searches for a new Java programmer. They create a bot that searches for people who have 5 years of experience, know Spring, have a BA in Computer Science etc.
This Microsoft bot starts searching for employee bots which have these characteristics.
Meanwhile, an employee wants to start searching for jobs. This employee creates a bot that learns about the personality, skill set and expertise of this employee by having a dialogue with them. From the dialogue, the bot learns that the employee is a Java dev with 6 years of experience, has a great sense of humor and also started many side-businesses (read: s/he is passionate)
Then the employee bot starts searching for opportunities. It meets the Microsoft bot and they start chatting. The Microsoft bot asks about years of experience, dominant traits (humorous, outgoing, easily intimidated etc), how can the employee help the company with a specific problem and so on.
If the two bots match, a report of the conversation will be sent to Microsoft and a notification to the employee.
This is the basic part of the idea. It will be more complex on the technical side because the employee will need to spend some time talking to the bot and telling it about preferred companies, cultures, salary etc. But after talking to the bot, there's no need to do it again.
Basically: companies learn more about employees and the type of people they might hire. HRs don't waste time, employees don't apply to tens of jobs themselves.
What do you think about this idea?
